Architecture for the curious traveller
mysteryparcelrel.online is an independent, informative website about converted water towers and accommodation inside restored industrial structures. We write for readers who want to understand the shell as well as the room: why the building looks this way, what had to change, and which practical questions remain.
We are not a hotel operator, booking agent, access assessor or conservation consultancy. We are not affiliated with the properties, hotel groups or heritage organisations referenced in our articles.

Three kinds of information
General principles
Descriptions of structure, circulation and services explain possibilities. They do not assert that a particular property uses that solution.
Documented examples
Named properties link to operator information or relevant public sources. Current room details must be confirmed directly.
Explanatory renders
Images depict conceptual tower forms and spatial relationships. They are not site surveys, photographs or representations of available rooms.

Follow the claim back to its context
Operator websites are useful for current room descriptions and service models. Heritage records and conservation organisations offer different evidence about history, significance and repair principles. Neither source type answers every question.
Our starting references include Historic England, SPAB, Historic Environment Scotland, ICOMOS and TICCIH. Specific property references appear on the home page. A link is a reading recommendation, not a certification or endorsement.
